Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It’s surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. Bryggen features colorful wooden houses on the old wharf, once a center of the Hanseatic League’s trading empire. The Fløibanen Funicular goes up Fløyen Mountain for panoramic views and hiking trails.

Bergen is famous for the seven mountains surrounding the city centre and for several hundred years the centre of prosperous trade between Norway and the rest of Europe.In Bergen you can visit popular attractions like Bryggen, Fløibanen Funicular, Bergen Aqaurium or the famous Fish Market. Bryggen, (“The Hanseatic Wharf”) is the most obvious remnant from this time, and is today home to many of the city’s restaurants, pubs, craft shops and historical museums.

Transfer to a Bergen City Center Hotel
A 2 hour walking tour around Bergen city centre starting at 10.00am in the morning.During the tour you could see Bergenhus Fortress with Haakon’s Hall and Rosenkrantz Tower, St. Mary’s Church,Bryggen Wharf ,the fish market , the central square, the National Theatre and the city park.In the afternoon visit the Bergen Aquarium, Norway’s largest and the oldest aquarium is located on the southern extremity of Nordnes Peninsula, not far from Bergen. The typical dwellers of the North sea such as Seals,Penguins & Sea lions can be observed.There are shows with Penguins, Seals ,Sea Lions and Carps.
The cruise along Osterfjord gets narrower close to its end,while surrounding mountains gets higher and higher. Then the tight Mostraumen,where the ship can barely pass.
The Cable car can take you to the height of 643m above sea level, where a majestic view of Bergen could be seen. Departure transfer to Airport.
